The first step is to multiply the "6X" by what is inside the brackets. This gives you 78X - 36X = 7²

7²= 7X7 = 49

Next simplify the equation 78X-36X= 42X
So 42X = 49
Divide both sides by 42 to get X= 1.1666666...

(The 6 is recurring)

6 × (13 - 6) = 42, not 7, but 7² is 49 and 42² is 1,764.
I hope this helps!

Length of the diameter =   sqrt ( (-12- (-8)^2) +(2-0)^2) )
  = sqrt  (16 + 4) = sqrt20
so radius = sqrt 20 / 2 = sqrt5
so r^2 = 5

Center of the circle = coordinates of the midpoint of the diameter =

-8-12/2 , 2-0 / 2  =    (-10, 1)

(x - a)^2 + (y - b)^2 = r^2  is general form of a circle so here the circle is:_
