How are energy and wavelength related? A The Sun's energy leaves as radiation of a single wavelength but can change wavelengths

along the way, with the shortest wavelengths being particles that gained the most energy on the path to Earth. B The Sun's energy leaves as radiation of a single wavelength but can change wavelengths along the way, with the shortest wavelengths being particles that lost the most energy on the path to Earth. C The Sun's energy arrives as radiation with a wide range of wavelengths and the more energetic the wave the shorter the wavelength. D The Sun's energy arrives as radiation with a wide range of wavelengths and the more energetic the wave the longer the wavelength.

C. The sun's energy arrives as radiation with a wide range of wavelengths and shorter wavelengths have more energy.

Even visible sunlight, a small segment of the sun's electromagnetic radiation, contains multiple wavelengths. We see this every time we see a rainbow. Also, the shortest visible light is violet. Shorter still is ultraviolet radiation that has enough energy to give us sunburns. Even shorter waves, x-rays, are so powerful they pass right through solid objects.

If point E(5, h) is on the line that contains A(0, 1) and B(−2, −1), what is the value of h?
nikdorinn [45]
First calculate the change in y over the change in x:

by - ay -1 - 1 -2
———— = ——— = —— = 1
bx - ax -2 - 0 -2

The slope is 1:

Second set up the equation in y = mx + b form (m is your slope!) ...

y = (1)x + b

... and plug in either point you have used (A or B)

A(0,1)

1 = (1)(0) + b
1 = b

Now you have your equation: y = 1x + 1

Your final step is to plug in point C to solve for your missing variable:

y = (1)(5) + 1
y = 6

the value of H therefore is 6

Because of the difference between the discipline imposed by market competition and the discipline imposed by political decisions
andre [41]

Because of the difference between the discipline imposed by market competition and the discipline imposed by political decisions, there is bound to be A. difficulty managing public investment so it's done in a cost-effective way.

What is a competitive market?

This is s a structure in which no single consumer or producer has the power to influence the market

The characteristics of a competitive market are:

 • Homogeneity of product.
 • No existence of buyers or sellers.
 • Access to information.
 • No charge fr yranascation cost.
 • No barries to entry or exit.

Hence, because of the difference imposed by the market and political decisions, the government borrowing cannot be reduced neither will there be an increase in the tax budget nor will the government budget hide the rate of private investment.
