The quote of president Bush suggests that he values peace and democracy and that this peace has to be built upon human rights.
The Graphic, which I believe represents president Roosevelt hitting a dove with a stick, suggests that Roosevelt would sacrifice human rights for peace, which President Bush would not.
(I actually don't agree with this statement, just interpret the graphic)
If we’re talking history here it might be the Brown vs.
Board of Education of Topeka where the court ruled that segregation in public
schools was unconstitutional. This was
because of the inequality of facilities in Black schools compared to White
schools. This would pave the way to
integration of schools in the U.S.
In 1774, the First Continental Congress suggested that colonists boycott British goods to protest "<span>c. the Intolerable Acts," since it was clear that the colonists would no longer tolerate such taxation. </span>
