The Least Common Denominator (also called LCD) is very important to working with rational expressions. The process we use to find the LCD of the exponents is based on the process used to find the LCD of intergers. For instance, to find the LCD of 8 and 6 you need:

1. Consider multiples of the larger number
8, 16, 24,...

2. 24 is the first multiple of 8 that is also divisible by 6

3. Then 24 is our Solution.

To answer the question regarding expressions with exponents let's take an example:

Find the LCD of 4x^{2}y^{5} \ and \ 6x^{4}y^{3}z^{6}:

1. 12 is the LCD of 4 and 6

2. Use all variables with highest exponents on each variable, then x^{4}y^{5}z^{6}

3. Finally, solutions is: 12x^{4}y^{5}z^{6}

How many numbers multiple of 3 are in the range [2,2000]?
amm1812

Answer: so there are 666 multiples of 3 between 2 and 2000.

Step-by-step explanation:

the smallest number = 3 which is 3*1. The largest number is = 1998 = 3*666

multiples of 3 between {2,2000} = 666-1+1 = 666

Help please I give thanks
Alona [7]

1.) Gather all the sides (length, width, and height)
V=l×w×h

2.)Plug in the correct and appropriate volume:
V=8×6×\frac{1}{3}

3.)Multiply all of them:
V=8×6×\frac{1}{3}
  =48×\frac{1}{3}
  =\frac{48}{3}
  =16 (after simplifying)

4.) State the answer in a sentence:<span>

  The volume of the rectangular prism is 16 </span>cubic^{2}.

Hope this helps!

Answer:

B

Step-by-step explanation:

Givens

a = 2 sqrt(3)

b = 3 sqrt(2)

c = ?

Formula

a^2 + b^2 = c^2

Solution

  • (2sqrt(3))^2 = 2*2 * sqrt(3)*sqrt(3)
  • (2sqrt(3))^2  = 4 * 3
  • (2sqrt(3))^2  = 12
  • (3sqrt(2))^2 = 3 * 3 * sqrt(2)*sqrt(2)
  • (3sqrt(2))^2 = 9 * 2
  • (3sqrt(2))^2 = 18

(2sqrt(3)^2 + 3sqrt(2)^2 ) = c^2

4*3 + 9*2 = c^2

12 + 18 = c^2

c^2 = 30

sqrt(c)^2 = sqrt(30)

c = sqrt(30)

In a coffee shop, there are ten people sharing an access point with a rated speed of 2gbps. The throughput is half the rated spe
dezoksy [38]

The rated speed of the access point = 2 GB/sec.

The throughput is half the rated speed = 1 GB/sec.

1 GB/sec. = 1000 MB/sec.

Each person downloading is getting an average of 200 MB/sec.

<u>So, the number of people are using the internet at that moment = 1000/200 = 5 persons.</u>
