3.)Multiply all of them:
V=8×6×$\frac{1}{3}$
  =48×$\frac{1}{3}$
  =$\frac{48}{3}$
  =16 (after simplifying)

4.) State the answer in a sentence: 

  The volume of the rectangular prism is 16 $cubic^{2}$.
