The answer to your question would be that the statement that is true about compare-and-contrast essays is the one that says that compare-and-contrast essays attempt to compare the similarities and differences between two or more subjects.

Usually, they compare and contrast two subjects but they can also include more. When comparing, you should talk about the similarities that these subjects share; on the contrary, you should provide the differences when contrasting. Something that should be kept in mind when writing this type of essays is the principle of relevance: If you come up with a strong thesis, then it'll be easier to determine which characteristics are worth comparing and contrasting.

Grade 10 english<br>How is fear unique to the individual
Rudik [331]
Fear can come in many shapes and forms. Each individual has something that they fear, some fear spiders, some have a fear of heights. It all depends on the individual, although people can have the same fears. We as humans can have more than one fear being able to have different fears makes people different and unique. Depending on the fear a person/individual has it can shape their life and what things they’ll stay away from. Of course there are people who can overcome their fears which will also shape them into who they are as a person.
