Well add them all up. : 10+15+8+7=40. There are 8 white balls out of 40. 8/40. Find the GCF of them both and simplify them.

8=8 so 8/8 = 1
40=8 so 40/8 = 5 so 1/5 is your answer.

B. is your answer.

In order to do this we must add first. We have to add the balls in order  to get the answer.

10+15+8+7=40

What number is going to go into 40? The white balls right? So....

8/40 is your answer which just needs to be simplified :

Find the GCF of them both and divide.

8/8 = 1

40/8 = 5

Your answer is 1/5.

The line that contains the point Q( 1, -2) and is parallel to the line whose equation is y - 4 = 2/3 (x - 3)
Musya8 [376]

Answer:

y + 2 = \frac{2}{3}(x - 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of a line in point- slope form is

y - b = m(x - a)

where m is the slope and (a, b) a point on the line

y - 4 = \frac{2}{3}(x - 3) ← is in point- slope form

with slope m = \frac{2}{3}

Parallel lines have equal slopes, thus equation of parallel line

with m = \frac{2}{3} and (a, b) = Q(1, - 2) is

y - (- 2) = \frac{2}{3}(x - 1) , that is

y + 2 = \frac{2}{3}(x - 1)

Karla bought 2 pounds of red beads , 1 3/4 pounds of green beads , and 10 ounces of string at the craft store. How much do Karla
elixir [45]
12 ounces are in 3/4 a pound.. and 16 ounces are in a pound.. so adding 16 and 10 gives you 26, which ends up with Karla's supplies weighing 4 pounds and 10 ounces all together.
