Answer: interest = $ 3,629.34

Step-by-step explanation:

Complete question

(Marlie will be starting college next year, federal unsubsidized student loan in the amount of $18,800 at 4.29%. She knows that during this non-payment time, interest will accrue at 4.29%. Suppose Marlie only paid the interest during her four years in school and the six-month grace period. What will she now pay in interest over the term of the loan.)

This question relates to interest over a single period of time and since it's not compounded, we use formula for simple interest to calculate the interest accrued.

Data;

P = $18,800

R = 4.29% = 0.0429

T = 4.5 years

S.I = ?

S.I = PRT

S.I = 18,800 * 0.0429 * 4.5

S.I = $3,629.34

Therefore she'll need to pay $3,629.34 as interest accrued.

What is the correct input-output table for the function f(x) = 7 – 4.5x?
liberstina [14]
In your function the possible value of X by means of simplifying it is 1.56 so the table would be a straight horizontal line in the plane. I hope you understand my answer and if you have more clarification, feel free to ask for more, have a good day

Answer

0

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the length be l

We know that,

Perimeter= 8\sqrt{8} \\Width = 4 \sqrt{2} \\As\ Perimeter = 2(l+b)\\\\8\sqrt{8}=2(l+4 \sqrt{2})\\8\sqrt{8}=2l+8 \sqrt{2}\\8\sqrt{8} -8\sqrt{2}=2l\\4(\sqrt{8}  -\sqrt{2})=l\\4(2\sqrt{2}  -\sqrt{2})=l\\4(\sqrt{2}(2-1))=l\\4(\sqrt{2})=l\\Hence, l=b\\So, l-b= 0

Pls help me with my homework
Citrus2011 [14]
Hello! I believe your answer is r = 8.
Here's how I got it :
                                  42 - 5r = 2
                                  42-42 - 5r = 2-42 , we subtract 42 to move it over to the right to isolate the 5r. And now we evaluate it!
                                 -5r = -40
                                 -5r/-5 = -40/-5         divide by -5 to isolate the r
that leaves us with :  r = 8
