PEMDAS!!
or an easy way to remember it is Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally
which stands for Parentheses, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction Go in order from p to s from left to right as you would read it
Parentheses first (9-3^2) start with the exponent 3^2=9 then subtract
(9-9)=0 so now we have 2+6(0)-2 Multiply next so 6(0)=0 then we have 2+0-2
next add 2+0=2  then we have 2-2 then subtract 2-2=0 so the overall answer is 0
but you have multiply, added, and subtracted throughout the process

The perimeter of a rectangular garden is 318 meters. The width of the garden is 105 meters more than the length. Find the length
Mandarinka [93]
X = length
2x + 2(x + 105) = 318
2x + 2x + 210 = 318
4x = 108
x = 27
The length is 27 meters long, and the width is 132 meters wide.

Min is about to roll a six-sided number cube. What is the experimental probability that she will roll an even number based on he
masya89 [10]

Answer:

Therefore the experimental probability that she will roll an even number is

C ) 0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

Let S be the sample space for the given experiment that to Roll six sided number Cube

∴ S ≡ { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6}

∴ n(S) = 6

Let 'A' be the event of experiment that she will roll an even number

∴ A ≡ { 2, 4, 6 }

∴ n(A) = 3

To Find:

P(A) = ?

Solution:

We know that for any experiment probability is given by

\textrm{probability of the experiment}=\dfrac{\textrm{number of favourable outcomes}}{\textrm{total number of outcomes}}

Substituting the values we get

P(A)=\frac{n(A)}{n(S)} =\frac{3}{6} =\frac{1}{2} =0.5

Therefore the experimental probability that she will roll an even number is

C ) 0.5
