How is the retina of the eye like yhe film in a camera

The human eye is a wonderful instrument, relying on refraction and lenses to form images. There are many similarities between the human eye and a camera, including:

a diaphragm to control the amount of light that gets through to the lens. This is the shutter in a camera, and the pupil, at the center of the iris, in the human eye.

a lens to focus the light and create an image. The image is real and inverted.

a method of sensing the image. In a camera, film is used to record the image; in the eye, the image is focused on the retina, and a system of rods and cones is the front end of an image-processing system that converts the image to electrical impulses and sends the information along the optic nerve to the brain.

The way the eye focuses light is interesting, because most of the refraction that takes place is not done by the lens itself, but by the aqueous humor, a liquid on top of the lens. Light is refracted when it comes into the eye by this liquid, refracted a little more by the lens, and then a bit more by the vitreous humor, the jelly-like substance that fills the space between the lens and the retina. The lens is critical in forming a sharp image, however; this is one of the most amazing features of the human eye, that it can adjust so quickly when focusing objects at different distances.

In the first sentence of the passage, the description of Ignatius’ head as a “fleshy balloon” contributes to the narrator’s port
dangina [55]

Answer:

The description of Ignatius' head contributes to the narrator's presentation that Ignatius looks unpleasant.

Explanation:

Ignatius is a very peculiar man and he causes people to be strange, because of the way he dresses, how he acts, his behavior and even his appearance, which is neither pleasant nor admirable. To reinforce the impression that Ignatius' appearance is bad, the author inserts the information that his head looked like a "fleshy balloon", which shows that he was ugly and that this contributed to people seeing him negative.

One of your coworkers is having a difficult time with some personal problems. He is allowing those problems to interfere with hi
Flura [38]

Answer:

If you want to be nice about it, you say "hey, I know you've been having a tough time lately, and i've been helping you with some of your work, but it's just too much for me to pile on. I can help sometimes but not always, and what you're going through you can get through it, and maybe if you do some work it would take your mind off of things. Also, if you need to talk and/or vent come to me or someone that you trust."

Or you can just dump the pile onto someone else or simply refuse to do his work or do your first and then do his and not stress yourself, when he has something to do. Or just tell him get it together while he's at work and go home to be in a mood.

Whatever you feel would work best!
