Because we spin on a side ways axis only showing on side at the time, and the moon also rotates so we don't only see one side of the moon, we only see what our eyes percieve

Well, this is actually a bit simple: You see, the earth revolves around the sun, and the moon revolves around us. As we spin, the moon spins too. This is due to gravity. The issue is the moon has the EXACT orbital period as us, meaning we will always be facing the same side of the moon, because it's spins are perfectly timed with ours. If the moon didn't spin at all, then we would EVENTUALLY see the "dark side of the moon" but because it does spin, we are always stuck seeing the same side.

While doing field research, two scientists discover a new species of plant. They take the plant back to their lab to watch how i
MAVERICK [17]

As the new species of plant produced purple flowers, so, the plant belongs to the angiosperms group. Also, the seeds of the plant contain two embryonic leaves, so, the plant must be a dicot.

  • Out of all five divisions of plants, only the plants that come under the Division Angiosperm can bear or form flowers. That's why angiosperms are also called flowering plants.
  • Angiosperms are further divided into two groups based on the number of embryos that are produced from seeds on germination.
  • If the germinating seeds contain only one embryo leaf, then we call them monocots while the seeds that contain two embryo leaves during their developing seeds, then they are called dicots.

Thus, the plant that is discovered by scientists comes under the angiosperm group and further into the dicot group. Dicots have two embryo leaves on germination of their seeds and they also form flowers.

Give an example of a type of cell in a living organism (animal or plant) that is shaped very differently than the classical roun
olga2289 [7]

Answer:

The cell of amoeba is shaped differently than the classical round or boxy shape seen in textbooks.

Explanation:

Amoebas are unicellular organisms i.e consisting of a single cell. The amoebic cell can change its shape due to pseudopods. Pseudopods are structures in the amoeba that allow movement of the cell as well as help the amoeba to trap food by engulfing the particles. The species of amoeba are differentiated based on pseudopods. Amoeba also possess contractile vacuoles that helps it to get rid of the extra water.

Approximately how much plasma moves through the kidneys of an adult during a 24-hour period?
8090 [49]
The correct answer is approximately 150-180 liters, assuming that the adult in question is average-sized and healthy. During this process, blood enters the kidney through what's called the renal artery. Then, the blood is separated and goes through different arterioles to get to the glomerulus. Here, the blood pressure increases, causing things like water and salts to be filtered out of the blood.

The graphic shows the island of Krakatoa, which disintegrated in 1889, due to the largest volcanic eruption in recorded history.
Nadusha1986 [10]
As you can see in the table presented below, in the first few years after the eruption, there was a significant number of moss species present.
Pioneer species are species that are very resilient and first to inhabit new habitats or repopulate disrupted ones, so in this example, mosses are the most likely candidate for pioneer species.
