What is the length of the missing side of the right triangle?
HACTEHA [7]

Answer:

10 feet

Step-by-step explanation:

You use the pythagorean theorem to find the missing side of a right triangle.

side^2 + side^2 = hypotenuse ^2

6^2 + 8^2 = X^2

36 + 64 = 100

square root of 100 = 10

If a restaurant bills totals $85, what amount should be left as a 15$ tips A. $97.75 B. $11.90 C.$12.25 D. $12.75
Nata [24]
If the total bill is $85, and you want to leave a 15% tip, then you can calculate it as follows:

85 * 15%

= 85 * 15/100

= 85 * 0.15

= 12.75

The amount that should be left as a tip is D. $12.75.

I don’t really get this question can someone help me out
Inessa [10]

angles EFH and GFH are congruents

for the second equivalence criterion  two triangles are equivalents if they have  respectively  2 angles and 1 side congruents

the two triangles have congruents the angle right angle (HGF and HEF) and the 55 degrees angles (EFH and GFH); then they have in common the HF side.

so the triangles are congruent and so all the sides are respectively congruent,for example EH with HG:

EH=HG

s+36=7s

s+36-7s=0

s-7s=-36

-6s=-36

6s=36

s=6
