Please somebody can help me with this:
Valentin [98]
I interviewed my PE teacher about Violence in school and bullying. I chose him because he interacts with students on a different level and many confide in coaches. He said that this is becoming a growing problem and issue among the youths today and need to be addressed. He said that had never been this involved in anything before now. This is very important because it could save a student's life. He recently attended a neighborhood meeting to get people more actively involved in their children's lives and mentor others who didn't have guidance. I was surprised that he was one a victim himself. I have now respect for him because of the way he handled the situation and turned it into a positive. It is important to talk to others about issues that matters to gain knowledge and understanding about them. It is best to keep an open mind because everyone has their own opinions that should be respected.

Mr. Able is diagnosed with illness anxiety disorder, while Mr. Baker is diagnosed with somatic symptom disorder. How will their
nekit [7.7K]

Answer:

c. Mr. Able will fear he has an undetected fatal illness; Mr. Baker will have many vague physical complaints.

Explanation:

Somatic symptom disorder in most cases is a disorder that is involving extreme and long-lasting focus on multiple physical symptoms for which no medical cause is evident.

People who have somatic disorder are not always concerned whether the physical symptom has a medical cause or not, what majorly happens to them is that the psychological factors compound the severity and impairment associated with the physical symptoms.

Illness Anxiety Disorder is a type of disorder which involves severe anxiety over the belief of one having a disease process without any evident physical cause.

The major difference between the two ( somatic disorder and illness anxiety disorder) is that If one or more physical symptoms are severe and associated with anxiety, then the diagnosis is somatic symptom disorder; in illness anxiety disorder the concern is majorly with the idea of being sick instead of the physical symptom itself.

5. How did Judaism influence<br> the development of Islam?
xxTIMURxx [149]

Answer:

it did not

Explanation:

Judaism does not influence the development of Islam. Both the religions have faith in Hazrat Abraham (AS), yet the Jews hardly accepted Christainity or Islam. Some of the Jews embraced Islam and became Muslims, but a large majority of the Jews conspired against the Muslims. They are still doing the same. It is a bitter fact that through out their history the Jews have never been sincere to the Prophets or their own rulers.

astraxan [27]

Answer:

The given question is incomplete; options are missing.

The missing options are:

A. valid because this conclusion is believable.

B. valid because this is indeed a valid syllogism and the logic is apparent.

C. invalid because this syllogism does not involve a pragmatic reasoning schema.

D. invalid because of the influence of the atmosphere effect.

The correct answer is option A.

Explanation:

Syllogism is a rhetorical device used to draw a conclusion about certain arguments(premise). It is a form of logical reasoning.

A syllogism can be divided into three parts:

  • Minor premise
  • Major Premise
  • Conclusion

In the given case, the major premise is <em>"some tired people are irritable" </em>because it is stating a fact;<em> "all of the students are tired"</em> is a minor premise that is specifying a statement, and <em>"some of the students are irritable"</em> is a conclusion drawn from the major and minor premise.

This syllogism will be considered valid because the conclusion is believable.
