Reagan was the president responsible for making economic policies that aimed to reduce the growth of government spending, reduce the federal income tax and capital gains tax, reduce government regulation, and tighten the money supply to reduce inflation. These were all the steps he took after the World War II to ensure that America would be able to get back again on its economic pride.Up to present, presidents have carried over some of his policies to ensure that America remains at the top of its game.
