Answer:  Humans changed a lot of things  during time and one of those things ended up being the Carbon cycle .. They changed it by burning fossil fuels , which releases Carbon Dioxide into the atmosphere ..The nitrogen cycle however starts with nitrogen gas in the atmosphere then goes through the nitrogen cycle  fixing Microorganisims to plants , then animals , decomposers then finally into the soil .

a student drew the following flowchart to show the movement of nutrients. which process is likely to be occurring in the plants
insens350 [35]

Answer is D. Nitrogen fixation.

The root nodules of some plants contains Rhizobium bacteria which fixes atmospheric nitrogen into soil as Ammonia. Ammonia is converted into nitrate which is the most usable form of nitrogen in the soil. Nitrate is absorbed by the roots of the plants, from plants nitrogen reaches to animals when they eat plants.
