Put the x and y values in the inequality, you will see that (-6,2) make the left side a 20, and (1,5) make the left side a 18. 20 and 18 are larger than 16.
the other three pairs each make a result smaller than or equal to 16
so the answers are (-6,2) and (1,5)

In the coordinate plane, what is the length of the line segment that connects points at (0, −1) and (−7, −2) ?
stiv31 [10]
A (−3, 1) and B (3, 4) 2 Let A have coordinates (x1, y1). Let (x1, y1) = (−3, 1). 3 Let B have coordinates (x2, y2). Let (x2, y2) = (3, 4). 4 Find the length AB by applying the formula for the distance between two points. AB = "(x2 − x1)2 + (y2 − y1)2 = "[3 − (−3)]2 + (4 − 1)2 = "(6)2 + (3)2 = !36 + 9 = !45 = 3!5 = 6.71 1
