Write a program that gets a list of integers from input, and outputs the integers in ascending order (lowest to highest). The fi
Travka [436]

Answer:

Explanation:

Since no programming language is stated, I'll use Microsoft Visual C# in answering this question.

// C# program sort an array in ascending order

using System;

class SortingArray {

int n; //number of array elements

int [] numbers; //Array declaration

public static void Main() {

n = Convert.ToInt32(Console.ReadLine());

numbers = new int[n];

for(int i = 0; i<n; I++)

{

numbers [n] = Convert.ToInt32(Console.ReadLine());

}

SortArray();

foreach(int value in numbers)

{

Console.Write(value + " ");

}

}

void SortArray()

{

int temp;

// traverse 0 to array length

for (int i = 0; i < numbers.Length - 1; i++)

// traverse i+1 to array length

for (int j = i + 1; j < numbers.Length; j++){

// compare array element with all next element

if (numbers[i] < numbers[j])

{

temp = numbers[i];

numbers[i] = numbers[j];

numbers[j] = temp;

}

}

}

Assume that you have an array of integers named arr. Which of these code segments print the same results?
tresset_1 [31]

Answer:

II and III only

Explanation:

In Code segment II, the output of the array will be started form arr[0] and ends at the arr[length]. Because loop starts from 0 and ends at length of array. This will print the full array data.

In code segment III, the output will be all values of array as loop starts form first index and ends at last index.

On the other hand I code segment prints all array values except last value of the array. As the loop shows that, it will terminate at second last value of the array.

Explain the need for data structures when developing software.
Sergio [31]

Solution:

It is  important because, it has to do operation on so without, data structures and algorithms.

It performs these operation:

 1)Take an input

2) Process it

3) Give back the output.

The input can be in any form, for ex while searching for directions on google maps,  the starting point and the destination as input to google maps, while logging in to any social sites, We have to give our email and password as input and so on.

Similarly, in the third step, the computer application gives us output in some form or the other.

To make this process efficient, we need to optimize all the three steps.
