In the NFL there is a term “exempt”, which means that the player is not on the list due to certain circumstances. Among the reasons are injuries, military duty, or deferment.

EXPLANATION

In order to explain the term "exempt", the official NFL website issued a case example; Minnesota Vikings puts Adrian Peterson on the exemption list. So, this requires Peterson not to participate in all team activities while he completes his legal process.

• What is meant by "Register for Exemption List”

Exemption list is a player status, where the player is in a state of being unable to play or participate in all club activities. Provisions for a player to enter or not to register are approved by the Commissioner. Then only the Commissioner has the authority to place the player on the exemption list. The club has absolutely no such authority. The commissioner also determines how long the player is on the Exemption List.

Exempt means that a person will remain on the Exemption List until the Commissioner revokes. Then can players return to Active Lists. Returning to the Peterson case, Peterson can remain on the list for an indefinite period of time but is still paid for by the Minnesota Vikings.

Which two sentences use coordinate adjectives?
taurus [48]

The two sentences that use coordinate adjectives are "The dark, musty cellar..." and "The dark-haired, hazel-eyed baby...", options A and C as explained below.

What are coordinate adjectives?

First, we must remember that adjectives are words that modify nouns by giving them a quality. Examples of adjectives are:

 • Beautiful
 • Smart
 • Silly
 • Hot

Coordinate adjectives are adjectives that have the same importance in the sentence and that modify the same noun. They appear in a row and are separated by a comma. Since they have the same importance, their places can be swapped without harming the meaning of the sentence.

That is the case with options A and C. There is a comma separating the adjectives "dark" and "musty" in letter A, and "dark-haired" and "hazel-eyed" in letter C. In both cases, the adjectives can be swapped without any problems.
