A candy bar box is in the shape of a triangular prism. The volume of the box is 3,240 cubic centimeters.

and 3 rectangular sides. Side the volume = 3240

and the height = 30, the area of each base (end) = 108.

The sides have areas of 30 x 42 = 720, and 30 x 15 = 450,

and there are 2 of those. So total area = 108 + 108 + 720 + 900 = 1836 cm^2
