19 children tickets and 31 adults ticket were sold

2x+5y = 193

Step-by-step explanation:

sold 19 tickets for children  $2  =  19×2 = $38

sold 31  tickets for adult  $5      =  31×5 = $155

Total debut = $38 + $155 =  $193

Total Seats =  19 (children)+ 31 adults)  = 50 seats

2x+ 5y = 193  where x denotes children tickets and y denotes adult tickets

2(19)+5(31) =193

(2×19) + (5×31) = 38 + 155 = 193

(2×19) + (5×31) = 38 + 155 = 193
