Let jae have x dollars. Thus, we can make the  equation:-

x + 3x + 2*(3x) = 400

4x + 6x = 400

10x = 400

x = 40

So jae has  $40 and

jaspar has 3x =  3* 40

= $120 dollars  (answer

75% of all undergraduates are in the College, 10% are in Engineering, 8% are in Commerce, 4% are in Nursing, and 3% are in Archi
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

the probability a randomly selected student is a third-year that they are in the College is 0.1743

Step-by-step explanation:

Given information

75% College = C = 0.75

10% are in Engineering, Eng = 0.1

8% are in Commerce, Com = 0.08

4% are in Nursing, Nurs = 0.04

3% are in Architecture, Arch = 0.03

21% Third year student = S = 0.21

21% in the College = 0.21

25% in Engineering = 0.25

49% in Commerce = 0.49

57% in Nursing = 0.57

33% in Architecture = 0.33

P(SlC) = 0.75 x 0.21 = 0.1575 is the probability of third year student in college

P(SlEng) = 0.1 x 0.25 = 0.025

P(SlCom) = 0.08 x 0.49 = 0.0392

P(SlNurs) = 0.04 x 0.57 = 0.0288

P(SlArch) = 0.03 x 0.33 = 0.0099

P(S) = P(SlEng) + P(SlCom) + P(SlNurs) +P(SlArch)

       = 1- (0.025 + 0.0392 + 0.0288 + 0.0099)

       = 0.9031

The probability of third year student in college is

P(ClS) = P(SlC) / P(S)

           = 0.1575 / 0.9031

           = 0.1743

Pls help ill give u brainliest
Monica [59]

Answer:

Answers:

Rate of change = -5

Initial value = 25

Step-by-step explanation:

Each time x increases by 2 (eg from x = 1 to x = 3), the value of y drops by 10 (eg from y = 20 to y = 10)

Therefore the slope is...

slope = rise/run = (change in y)/(change in x) = -10/2 = -5

slope = -5

So each time x increases by 1, y will decrease by 5

Flip things around: each time x decreases by 1, y will increase by 5

So the pair (x,y) = (1,20) shown in row 1 of the table leads to (0,25) based on the rule above. Another way to see this is to plug m = -5, x = 1 and y = 20 into y = mx+b and solve for b to get b = 25

PLEASE HELP HAVING TROUBLE!
Eddi Din [679]
The answer would be (D) because we know that Tim works out for 35 minutes a day and that if he keeps this constant pace for 4 days then you would end up with the expression: 4 x (25 + 10). Hope this answers your question!
