2(b+5)

Since "sum" means the answer to and addition problem it means we have to add. So it would be b+5. And instead of writing 2 x b+5. There is a simpler way: 2(b+5) cuz it means the same thing (multiplying by two) Hope this helps! Good luck!

nata0808 [166]

Answer:

The charge for shovelling snow for 6 hour is 72 hours

Step-by-step explanation:

Given as :

The charge for shovelling snow for 2 \frac{1}{2} hours is $30

Let The charge  for shovelling snow for 6 hours = $ x

Now, Applying unitary method

∵ The charge for shovelling snow for 2 \frac{1}{2} hours = $30

or,  The charge for shovelling snow for \frac{5}{2} hour = $30

So, The charge for shovelling snow for 1 hour =  \frac{30×2}{5} hour

∴ The charge for shovelling snow for 6 hour =  \frac{30×2}{5} × 6 hours

I.e The charge for shovelling snow for 6 hour =  \frac{360}{5} hours

                                                                            = 72 hours

Hence The charge for shovelling snow for 6 hour is 72 hours  Answer
