each term is -3 times of the previous term f(n)=-3f(n-1) is the recursive sequence because math 5th term is 4th term times -3 which is -3 times 3rd term (-36) so -36 times -3 times -3=-324 is 5th term

The rule in this pattern is add 3. Write the next 4 terms of the pattern. What do you observe about the terms in the pattern? Ex
Afina-wow [57]
If the rule for this pattern is add 3, you would take term 1 which had 5 dots then add 3, that makes term 2 have 8 dots, than add 3 that means term 3 has 11 dots, term four would have 14, and each term after that would have 3 more

Factorize the left hand side and equate the factors to zero.

Then, use the notation that : sec x = 1/cosx and csc x = 1/sinx

Result: x = ± π3 + 2πk , k∈Z

The perimeter of a triangle is 35 feet. One side of the triangle is five feet longer than the second side. The third side is thr
Vaselesa [24]

Given:

The perimeter of the triangle = 36 feet.

Let the three sides of the triangle be x, y and z.

The measurements of the sides of the triangle are given by

x=5+y and z=3+y

We need to determine the length of the sides.

Value of y:

Let us determine the value of y using the perimeter formula.

Perimeter =x+y+z

Substituting the values, we get;

35=5+y+y+3+y

35=8+3y

27=3y

9=y

Thus, the value of y is 9 feet.

Hence, the length of the second side is 9 feet.

Length of the sides:

Length of the 1st side is given by

x=5+y

x=5+9

x=14

Thus, the length of the first side is 14 feet.

Length of the third side is given by

z=3+y

z=3+9

z=12

Thus, the length of the third side is 12 feet.

Therefore, the length of the sides of the triangle are 14 feet, 9 feet and 12 feet.

4 12/20=?

answer ASAP
SIZIF [17.4K]

Note that the whole number 1 = 20/20

As 20/20 = 1

There are 4 whole numbers. multiply the numerator by 4

(20/20) x (4/1) = 80/20

Next, add the improper fraction gotten to the fraction given, 12/20

80/20 + 12/20 = 92/20

92/20 is your improper fraction, or 23/5 (simplified)

hope this helps
