After electrons leave photosystem 2 they move through a chain of three protein complexes where do they go after that electron tr
Lady_Fox [76]

The electrons move towards photosystem I.

One essential distinction between the electron transport in mitochondria and that in chloroplasts is that the energy obtained from sunlight at the time of photosynthesis not only is transformed to ATP but is also used to produce the NADPH needed for consequent transformation of CO2 to carbohydrates.

This is achieved by the application of two distinct kinds of photosystems in the light reactions of the process of photosynthesis, one generate NADPH and the other is used to produce ATP. The transfer of electrons takes step by step among the two photosystems, with photosystem II functioning to produce ATP and photosystem I functioning to produce NADPH.

The pathway of the flow of electron initiates at photosystem II. From this complex, the electrons are mediated with the help of plastocyanin to photosystem I.
