Answer:

The passing of the law at issue and the signing of the law by The president of  ( George Washington) helped the citizens understand how America is to be governed using the constitution by stating the limits and duties of each arm of government in the constitution.

Explanation:

The constitution of the united states replaced the articles of confederation which was first adopted as a constitution to be used in governing the American people.

The passing of the law at Issue in Marbury vs Madison was the first time the constitution of America was actually tested. this is because the Judiciary overturned a law made by congress on the grounds that the law was unconstitutional and that the constitution stipulates that the Judiciary should checkmate the excess of every arm of the Government against making laws and policies that were unconstitutional.

The constitution was called into play and this helped the citizens understand the meaning and functions of the constitution.

The reform movement in politics, the society, and the economy was known as the Progressive movement.

This movement took several different steps to change American society. This included

A) The development of anti-trust laws- This would clean up the economy and stop monopolies from cornering markets and participating in price gouging.

B) Muckraking- Journalists exposed social ills in American society by writing influential books and using photographs to show things like the horrible working and living conditons of American citizens. This lead to changes in law (like the Meat Inspection Act) that increased consumer and worker safety.

C) 17th amendment- This lead to citizens voting directly for their US Senators instead of having them picked by members of the state legislature. This helped to stop political corruption.

Karolina [17]

About as much as 60% of the indentured servants would die before being able to complete their contracts (which was often of 5 years). Although at first, some men were still able to claim some land after the years of work, in the 1660s, most of the good land was already claimed by large land owners. After Bacon's Rebellion in 1676, planters decided to stick with slavery instead of using the system that allowed them to abuse workers and become rich (by using a system that abused a person during that person's whole lifespan).
