What properties of bacteria make them attractive for producing recombinant proteins? Are there any properties that are unattract
LiRa [457]

Answer:

I'm in 8th grade, but I can provide a brief answer:

specific vulnerabilities of bacteria make them easier to mutate and gene edit with, however, some bacteria are much harder to tinker with.

Explanation:

Bacteria are often able to overcome antibiotics by coming out with a new strain, and this is solely due to them adapting to their conditions. In order to clone these proteins, I would think that internal body temperature, overall cell vulnerability, and how strong their exoskeleton (membrane) anything really, is.  MRSA (Methycillin Resistant Stapolococcus Aureus) idek if i spelled that right is pretty resistant to tamper with. It is a basically a bacteria that is resistant to antibiotics. Anyway, another possible factor could be the age of the cell (how old or how young the bacteria is).

How does internal social control differ from external social control
ad-work [718]
Internal means of control, such as an individual's own sense of right and wrong, decrease the likelihood that one will deviate from social norms. Through external means of control, individuals conform because an authority figure threatens sanctions if the individual disobeys.
