Answer:

The organism Cyanobacteria was the first organism to inhabit t he Earth prior to the rise oxygen in the atmosphere.

Explanation:

The single-celled Cyanobacteria were known to be the first oxygen-producing organisms even before the rise of oxygen in the atmosphere or the <u>"Great Oxidation Event,"</u> way back <em>3.5 million years ago</em>. They were able to survive the harsh conditions of the Earth by photosynthesis. During this process, the Cyanobacteria would use sunlight, water and organic carbon dioxide  to produce sugar for their energy. As a waste product, <u>oxygen was released to the atmosphere</u>. Accumulation of the oxygen in the atmosphere was <u>increased by the presence of the volcanic gases like hydrogen, reacting with the oxygen</u>. This caused a reduction reaction and made a more viable oxygen-rich atmosphere.

Leaves are organized in a way that helps them conduct photosynthesis. Explain how the structure of the leaf helps it perform pho
Blababa [14]

Answer:

For the photossynthesis there are requirement of cholorplast which is found on the surface of the plant leaves mostly that traps the light and convert light energy to the storage energy or glucose. Leave have larger surface area so the maximum amount of light can be traped for the photosyntheis by the cholorplast present in palisade cells.

Other than this leaves also helps in the gaseous exchange with stomata; small openings, by allowing carbon dioxide and oxygen into the leafe and outof the leave respectively. The veins helps in the transport of the gluscose and nutrition.

What effect does resource
gizmo_the_mogwai [7]

Answer:

B. Resource availability sets the limit.

Explanation:

The more resources available, the higher the carrying capacity, the less resources available, the lower the carrying capacity.

For example, take a grassland. Let's say that the grassland can support 100 deers. if there was a sudden drought, causing most of the grass to die, the carrying capacity can drop down to 10. If there was suddenly constant adequate rainfall, and silt was deposited in the land, causing more grass to grow, the carrying capacity can grow to upwards of 125.

Which hormone is responsible for controlling sperm production?
aniked [119]

Answer:

The most important hormone involved in controlling sperm production is a steroid called testosterone. This is produced in the testis itself, by the Leydig cells (see Figure 12a). The testosterone is released from the Leydig cells between the tubules, and taken up by the neighbouring Sertoli cells.
