5. At high altitudes is the sky above a deeper blue or a pale blue versus lower altitudes?

The sky is pale blue in higher altitudes while it is deeper blue in lower altitudes. This is because there is more air molecule closer to earth surface (as a result of higher air pressure) than higher altitudes. The air molecules are responsible for scattering of sunlight hence giving the sky its blue hue. The more the air molecules the more the scattering.

Answer:

As the air density is lesser at high elevations, the scattering is small, henceforth the sky appears darker blue.

Explanation:

  • The blue wavelengths of sunlight are scattered by the atmosphere (Rayleigh scattering; it is the scattering of light by particles smaller than the wavelength of the radiation). This is why the sky looks blue.
  • At lower altitude, we see sunlight through thick atmosphere particles than we see at higher altitude, more of the Sun’s blue light is scattered out along the way. The result is that we observe the sky to become little blue (yellow, orange, red) though numerous local effects (pollution, particulates) can participate to the color of the sky-glow as well.
  • It also depends upon the position of sun too. When sun is near to us than blue light is more prominent (day time) but when the sun is at horizon (evening or morning) the red light is dominant as the red scattered light has the maximum depth of penetration in the environment.

Does anyone know how to do these? if anyone knows how to do it please tell me even if you don give me the answers i just dont kn
denis-greek [22]

here is how to do it:

Explanation:

(h,k) are the coordinates of the vertex. They correspond to (x,y). So, first, you need to plug the vertex coordinates in for h and k in the given formula. Then, to find the a value (slope) you need to plug in the “contains” value in for x and y accordingly. Finally, just solve for a by simplifying algebraically. Make sure to distribute the - sign to your h and k values.

When you have the a value, to write the equation, do the following:

1. make sure to leave the vertex coordinates in the given formula equation

2. take out the “contains” values for x and y.

3. leave in the a value you found

Your completed equation should have the same format as the given formula. However, it should have numbers for the h, k, and a values. The x and y values should stay x and y.

Locate the absolute location of the points on the earth
iren [92.7K]

Answer:

A place's absolute location is its exact place on Earth, often given in terms of latitude and longitude. For example, the Empire State Building is located at 40.7 degrees north (latitude), 74 degrees west (longitude). It sits at the intersection of 33rd Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City, New York.

Is it an advantage or a disadvantage to have an accent?
gulaghasi [49]
Advantage: Because of your accent, some people may be interested in you. Not in you particularly, but since your accent sounds nice, they may be interested from where you are and the history of that place.
Disadvantage: Some people may find your accent weird and stuff, you may get bullied and made fun of because of it.
