When one person from a culture travels and other cultures kind of mix with them. For example, say you have red paint and blue paint, the red paint starts talking to the blue paint for a long long long long time. The blue paint picks up on what the red paint is doing, like if the red paint drips a lot so the blue paint starts to drip a lot also, the two cultures are mixing and created purple
