Read the excerpt from The People Could Fly So [the alligators] all be quiet. Until the fire flare real high and close. . . . The
loris [4]

Answer:

The word "swink" probably means that a lot of effort has been made.

Explanation:

In the text shown above, we can see that the crocodiles worked hard to escape the fire, but all their efforts were in vain. The text presents contextual clues that this effort was violent and intensive even if it did not achieve results, that is, the crocodiles tried to get rid of the fire, but they did not succeed. This very significant effort is directly associated with the word "swink" presented in the text, which allows us to consider that this word means that something laborious and that requires great effort and concentration is being carried out.

The answer is "their".  theirs doesn't make sense. You use "There" when you are are talking about going somewhere. (I am going there.)  They're (they are) is a conjunction and that doesn't make sense in the sentence (They're going to the mall) Hope this helps

In the case below, the original source material is given along with a sample of student work. Determine the type of plagiarism..
Reil [10]

Answer:

C. This is not plagiarism

Explanation:

Plagiarism is the process in which a writer copies the ideas and concept of any previous written idea and claim them to be his own. In case when the writer forgets to give the reference or do not cite the source, also comes under the case of plagiarism. In the above case, the idea given by the original source and the idea of the student is very different. The student does not copy the idea from the source, rather he/she is trying to exert his/her ideas out of the given idea.
