Since NS bisects QNR, the angles SNQ and SNR will be congruent.

They are congruent that means they are equal to each other. We will set them equal to each other and find the value of x first.

6x - 57 = 2x + 15
6x = 2x + 72
4x = 72
x = 18

Now we will substitute 18 for x in each angle measure and find measure of them.

Angle SNQ = 6(18) - 57 = 51
Angle SNR = 2(18) + 15 = 51

Now we will add both angles to find the total measure of angle QNR.

51 + 51 = QNR
102 = QNR

Hope this helps :)

zepelin [54]

Answer:

1. The null hypothesis is that there is no difference between the population means (in other words, there is no treatment effect).

2. The alternative hypothesis is that at least one of the population means is different from another (in other words, there is an effect Of at least one Of the treatments).

Step-by-step explanation:

In a statistical analysis, the statistician shares his participants into several groups and administers treatments to them. After administering the treatment, he might want to compare the values obtained to see if there is a difference. If he accepts the null hypothesis as true, that means that there was no difference between the population means. This can also be taken to mean that the result had no difference among the groups.

But if the alternative hypothesis was true, that means that the population means were not all equal and so, there was an effect from the treatment administered.

First find the slope:
The slopes of perpendicular lines must multiply to -1.
-9m = -1 ----> m = 1/9

Next, use point-slope form:
y - y1 = m(x-x1) , where given point (0,5) is (x1,y1)
y - 5 = (1/9)(x - 0)

Finally, solve for y to put it in slope-intercept form:
y = (1/9)x + 5
