The price of the rice is extremely important for multiple reasons, with the most important ones being:

- the number of people that use it as primary food source;

The rice is the primary food source for around half of the worlds population, with most of East Asia, South Asia, and Southeast Asia, using it as a primary food source. Considering the amount of people that use it on a daily basis as a basis for most of the meals, a reasonable and affordable price is crucial.

- the economic situation of the people that use it;

The regions in which the rice is used as primary food source vary in their economic standard, but the fact is that at least two thirds of the people using it daily are either poor, or can not afford another more expensive product as a primary food source. In order to avoid starvation of the people, the price has to be kept at a relatively low and affordable level.

The east coast of the United States today is oriented nearly straight north–south. Do you think the orientation was the same 370
KatRina [158]

Answer:

No.

Explanation:

No, I think the orientation was not the same 370 million years ago because 370 millions years ago there is a single super continent is present so with the passage of time, the super continent broken down into seven continents due to the activity of tectonic plates present inside the earth crust. So we can say that the orientation of east coast of United states were not the same 370 million years ago.

Could the Chernobyl disaster have been easily prevented?
yKpoI14uk [10]

Answer:

It was the result of a "safety trial" gone terribly amiss, compounded by incompetence, and made even worse by misinformation and secrecy. The accident could have been prevented completely, and its consequences could have been mitigated, with effective training, management and regulatory oversight
