Answer:

Wanda will spend $17.052 on fabric to make her costume.

Step-by-step explanation:

We can use proportion to solve the problem.

The question asks us to find the amount Wanda will spend to buy 9.8 yards of black fabric if a fabric cost $1.74 per yard.

Using proportion;

Let x be the cost of 9.8 yards of black fabric.

$1.74 =  1 yard

x     = 9.8 yards

Cross-multiply

x × 1 = 1.74 × 9.8

x = $17.052

Therefore, Wanda will spend $17.052 on fabric to make her costume.

The degenerate conic that is formed when a double cone is sliced at the ap-ex by a plane parallel to the base of the cone is a Point.

What degenerate conic is formed?

When a plane that is parallel to the base of a double cone is used to slice the ap-ex, the conic section formed is a circle.

Circles lead to a Point degenerate conic being formed because a single point will be formed on the double cone that separates the shape.

What is the equation in point-slope form of the line that passes through the point (3, −2) and has a slope of 23 ?
Oksanka [162]
Use the point slope formula. then, substitute the values inside the formula.

x1 =3
y1= -2
m = 23

y -y1 = m ( x - x1)

y - (-2) = 23 (x - 3)

y + 2 = 23 ( x - 3)

Can anyone explain how to solve this?
eduard
I’m not 100 percent sure someone can comment on this and confirm but when it’s written like a fraction it means division. If they gave you the meaning of each variable (the letters) multiply each variable by each coefficient (the number next to the variable). Multiply all of those. Then divide it by the product of 4 and the variable

Hope this helped!
