What will happen to the amount of prairie ecosystem if global warming and increased precipitation occur in that area?

If the temperature rise and the precipitation the vast grasslands called prairies will start to lose their initial appearance and characteristics and because of the higher temperature, humidity and rainfall trees will start to grow as well as bushes. Over time (depending on how quickly the change will appear) the prairie will be replaced by vast rainforests and the prairie ecosystem will be totally replaced by a tropical rainforest ecosystem similar to the southern half of central america.

Which cells contain this organelle: plant cells, animal cells, or both
Fiesta28 [93]

Structurally, plant and animal cells are very similar because they are both eukaryotic cells. They both contain membrane-bound organelles such as the nucleus, mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, golgi apparatus, lysosomes, and peroxisomes. Both also contain similar membranes, cytosol, and cytoskeletal elements.

Please help!! I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST !! Can you figure out the modern spreading rate of the Mid- Atlantic ridge? Use that line t
Naddik [55]

Answer:

R = 16mm/y

Explanation:

Modern Spreading Rate (R) = distance the seafloor moved in km (d) / age in million years (t)

R = d/t

To calculate it in millimeters per year we need to convert it:

1 km = 1000 m

1 m = 100 cm

1cm = 10mm

1 km = 1,000,000 mm

The problem states that in 150 million years, there is a distance of 2400 km.

if 1 km ------- 1,000,000 mm

2400 km-------X = 2400,000,000 mm

If 1 million years -------1,000,000 years

150 my----X = 150,000,000 years

R = d/t

R = 2400,000,000 mm/150,000,000 y.

R = 16mm/y
