Which thesis does Julio present effectively?
ddd [48]

Answer:

The thesis Julio presents effectively is (B) Many folk tales are not happy children's stories but dark, realistic tales.

Explanation:

Julio tells us tales that are often harmless and enjoyed by kids. The tales are filled with magic in which good wins and evil is always defeated at the end.

But the “original folk tales” represent the reality of life. They show about hunger, death and everyday struggles of people. They show real feelings of people. Julio says that all these original tales are always true and dark but some of them might be. Example of such story is when Cindrella’s step sisters cut their toe finger to fit in the shoe.

Primarily, its purpose is to give meanings to words. There are many advantages of using a dictionary. So, using a dictionary is important for students.

The first advantage of using a dictionary is pronunciation. Furthermore, we can also listen to the pronunciation of the words. Through the aid of a dictionary, you can check out a word’s right utterance. For that, it will help you get the right pronunciation of words. For example, the pronunciation of the word “cat” is /kæt/.

The second advantage of using a dictionary is part of speech. It could inform you which part of speech does a certain word belong. Lastly, examples sentences are also provided. When we want to use the word and do not know where to put the word, we can look example sentences. For example, we should put the word ‘cat’ after the adjective in ‘the black cat is cute.’

However, searching words by using a dictionary takes a lot of time. Using a talking dictionary, words can be searched immediately. We can find some words in a few minute.

To sum up, a dictionary is great help for everyone, especially students who are learning a language and who are interested in language learning. It is also helpful in enriching our vocabulary. So, remember to bring a dictionary with us every time when we come to class.

Identify the complete adjective clause.
S_A_V [24]
Your answer should be "that withstands winter winds". Adjective clauses can always be removed from a sentence, and leave a complete sentence behind. They also usually follow the noun they modify. In this case, the clause is modifying tree. Adjective clauses also usually start with certain words, and "that" is one of the starter words. I hope this helps!
