The first step for solving this expression is to write the division as a fraction.
x + \frac{7x}{9} × x
Calculate the product.
\frac{7x X x}{9}
Remember that if a term doesn't have an exponent,, it is considered that the exponent for that term is 1. This changes the expression to the following:
\frac{7 x^{1}X x^{1}  }{9}
Now multiply the terms with the same base by adding their exponents.
\frac{7 x^{1+1}}{9}
Finally,, add the numbers together to get your final answer.
x + \frac{7 x^{2}}{9}
Let me know if you have any further questions.

If a musician uses his credit card to pay for a new violin that costs $2,900 and does not pay on it until the second month, what
xenn [34]

Solution:

1.  Cost of a new Violin that is bought by the musician = $ 2900

Monthly interest charge = 3.35 %

If you will find the compound interest or simple interest for a month, they both will be same for a month.

Simple interest =

\frac{Principal \times Rate \times Time}{100}

 =\frac{2900 \times 3.35 \times 1}{ 100}\\\\ =29 \times 3.35\\\\ =97.15

Interest paid at the end of first month = $ 97.15

2. Loan Amount = $ 3,500

Annual interest = 8 %

Time period = 2 years= 24 months

As , we have to find the  total payback  for two years, at 8% annual interest with monthly payments .we will use the formula of Amount in terms of compound interest here.

Formula for Amount

Amount= Principal (1 +\frac{Rate}{100})^{time}]

          =3500 \times [(1+\frac{8}{1200})^{24}]\\\\ = 3500 \times [(1.0066)^{24}]\\\\= 3500 \times  1.1710 \\\\ =4098.58

Total payback after 2 years = $ 4098.58

X = 16 - 4y<br> 3x + 4y =8 <br> substitution method
8_murik_8 [283]

Answer:

i think x = -4, y = 5

Step-by-step explanation:

x = 16 - 4y

3x + 4y = 8

3(16 - 4y)+4y = 8

48-12y+4y = 8

48-8y = 8

48-8 = 8y

40 = 8y

5 = y

so

x = 16 - 4y

x = 16 - 4(5)

x = 16 - 20

x = -4

Three farmers shared an order for fertiliser between them in the ratio 3:4:7.
Viktor [21]

Answer:

45 kg = Bethan's share

105 kg = Jade's share

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 3x = Bethan's share

4x = Noah's share

7x = Jade's share

Since Noah's share was 60, then 4x = 60

                                                          x = 15

3(15) = 45 kg = Bethan's share

7(15) = 105 kg = Jade's share
