Answer:

A. The Spanish Civil War diverted European powers’ attention from Hitler’s expansionist desires in Western Europe.

Explanation:

The Spanish Civil War or Spanish War, also called by the Spaniards as Civil War par excellence, was a warlike conflict -which would later also affect an economic crisis- that was unleashed in Spain after the partial failure of the coup d'état in Spain. July 17 and 18, 1936 carried out by a part of the Army against the Government of the Second Republic. After the blockade of the Strait and the subsequent airlift that thanks to the rapid collaboration of Nazi Germany and fascist Italy, moved the rebel troops to mainland Spain in the last weeks of July, 8 9 began a civil war that would conclude on April 1, 1939 with the last part of war signed by Francisco Franco, declaring his victory and establishing a dictatorship that would last until his death on November 20, 1975. The war had many facets, as it included class struggle, war of religion, confrontation of opposing nationalisms, struggle between military dictatorship and republican democracy, between revolution and counterrevolution, between fascism and communism.

Regulatory legislation at the start of the twentieth century primarily dealt with_______.
Tanzania [10]

Answer:

Business monopolies.

Explanation:

In the late 19th century and early 20th, most companies were looking to form monopolies. By decreasing or nullifying the competition, the business's success was assured.

As an example, the Standard Oil Company, founded by John D. Rockefeller was one of the most powerful monopolies of its time. He was able to dictate fixed products, pay whatever wages he wanted to pay to workers, and controlled the market since his competitors weren't remotely close to his manufacturing levels.

However, it didn't lack opposition. in 1890 United States Senator John Sherman, attained the passage of the Sherman Antitrust Act in 1890, which allowed the Federal Government to break up any business who was in any way prohibiting competition. This act was widely used throughout the whole century, in the fight against monopolies.

What continued and what changed in the pre-history cultures like Mesopotamia, India, China, and Egypt
zysi [14]

Answer:

Explanation:

What continued was the shared religon between China and India, well India mostly, of Bhuddism. Bhuddism stayed and is still a common religious practice to this day. Another thing that continued is the Egyption and chinese farming technique for fertile farmland. They both developed, egypt and ancient china near rivers and they took advantage of that. We see that today in china, where they use the yangtze river, yellow river etc. Also mesopotamia, china, and egypt both developed a language, in which china and egypt used pictograms and mesopotamia developed the first written language; cunieform. Languages are a big part of society today. What changed was the overall shape and meaning of a civilization and society, mesopotamia, because they developed the division of labor in which people had to work. It's also to note that mesopotamia invented and created many great finding and inventions, ex the wheel and how to do metal work.
