Both B and D took place, but if you had to choose one, it would be B. The technological advances made farming much more quicker and easier for a large piece of land.

Production agriculture is farming for profit and for the benefit of others at the price of money. Hobby farming is for one’s own benefit, just out of pure joy. They don’t depend on hobby farming yo survive, as they only do it for a hobby.
