Positive numbers do not have the negative sign in front of it, for example, this is a positive number: 10. This is a negative number: -10. Or, 10 less than zero. 10 is ten <em>more </em>than zero.

In 1995, the standard bus fare in Chicago was $1.50. In 2008, the standard bus fare was $2.25. Give your answer as a percentage
Trava [24]

Answer:

The bus fair is 50% increases.

Step-by-step explanation:

The percentage is the proportion of the relation to the whole.

Percentage increase is calculate as ratio of difference of original and new value to the original value. i.e.

\frac{ Percentage\ increase\ \ =\ \ new\ value - original \ value}{original\ \ value}

∴ \frac{ Percentage\ increase\ \ =\ \ 2.25 - 1.50 }{1.50}

⇒ Percentage increase = 50%

The accompanying table summarizes successes and failures when subjects used different methods when trying to stop smoking. The d
Contact [7]

Answer:

Check the explanation

Step-by-step explanation:

Because the P-value of 0.19 small(such as 0.05 or lower), accept the null hypothesis of independence between the treatment and whether the subject stops smoking. This suggests that the choice of treatment is insignificant.

P-value>0.05 , we accept the null hypothesis. When the P-value is greater than 0.05 , the test is insignificant.

This means that the choice of treatment is insignificant.
