DNA - deoxyribonucleic acid. The main constituent of chromosomes. It is the carrier of genetic information
Genes - A unit of heredity that is transferred from a parent to offspring and is held to determine some characteristic of the offspring
Chromosomes - A threadlike structure of nucleic acids and protein found in the nucleus of most living cells, carrying genetic information in the form of genes... Keep this in mind: Inside every cell in your body are little "blueprints" that make you what you are! Those "blueprints," called DNA, contain everything necessary to sustain human life as well as physical traits that make you unique. The color of your hair, skin, and eyes; how tall or short you are; whether you're a man or a woman; the dimple in your chin; the bushy eyebrows-all these traits are passed on to you from your parents.

Inside the spiral-shaped DNA molecule are 26 pair of x-shaped chromosomes comprised of genes (little complex, protein packages that determine heredity). As a cell divides, the DNA molecule splits into equal halves and each half becomes part of a new cell. In human reproduction, a female egg (13 pair of chromosomes) joins up with a male sperm cell (13 pair of chromosomes), bringing the total number back up to 26 pair again.

How did Claire's digestion reaction weights tell you that the problem was in her small intestine, and not in her stomach
RUDIKE [14]

Answer:

The reaction rate of the digestion helps in understanding which part of the digestive system having trouble in digestion especialy stomach and intenstine related.

It involves the fact that most of the enrgy or calories are get by the small intestine and also vitamins and minerals are absorbed by this part of the digestive system so if the small intestine is having problem the rate of digestion would be affected and and an individual could be malabosrbed.

If the problem lies in the stomach it might show some effects of a poor digestion, however the rate of digestion would be better than if the problem lies in the small intestine.

What is the difference between a GMO and cloning
viktelen [127]

Answer:

A GMO Genetically Modified Product though similar to cloning is quite different. Cloning is the process of using egg cells from an individual to produce a new organism. When the baby is born, it is genetically identical to the parent, an exact copy. This process occurs in a lab. Genetic Engineering, which is used to make GMOs, uses technology to alter or change an organism's genes. New genetic information can be added to or removed from an existing set of DNA.

So I would say that some of the differences between GMOs and cloning include that:

Cloning strives to create exact copies of an organism's parent while GMOs remove and add different genes to form desired offsprings like making a product last longer or making the product grow larger faster.

Hopefully, this helped you! Have a nice day :)
