Cardiovascular system  - Transports oxygen, hormones, and nutrients to the body cells

Lymphatic system  - Defend against infection and disease, move lymph between tissues and blood stream

Digestive system  -Digests food and absorbs nutrients, minerals, and water

Endocrine system  - Produces hormones that communicate between cells.

Integumentary system  - Provides protection from injury and water loss, physical defense against infection by microorganisms, and temperature control.

Muscular system  -Involved in movement and heat production.

Nervous system  - Collects, transfers, and processes information.

Reproductive system  - Produces Gametes and Sex hormones

Respiratory system  - Brings air to sites where gas exchange can occur between blood and cells or blood and air

Skeletal system  -Supports and protects soft tissues of body; produces blood cells; stores minerals.

Urinary system  - Removes extra water, salts, and waste products from blood and body; controls pH; controls water and salt balance.

Immune system - Defends against diseases.

Show the energy of Oxidation of two mole pyruvic acid.
DerKrebs [107]

Answer:

Methanesulfinic acid (MSIA) is an important intermediate in the oxidation of dimethyl sulfide (DMS) in the marine boundary layer. The oxidation of MSIA by ozone in the gas phase to form methanesulfonic acid (MSA) was investigated using theoretical calculations in this paper. Three pathways can be found for the reaction of MSIA with ozone. The highest energy barrier is 13.02 kcal mol−1 in the most favorable pathway. By comparing the reaction rate of MSIA + O3 with that of MSIA + OH, it can be concluded that the oxidation of MSIA by O3 to form MSA is of minor significance relative to its oxidation by OH radical in the gas phase. This study can provide some information for the theoretical and experimental studies in the significantly heterogeneous and aqueous-phase oxidation of MSIA by O3.
