I don't understand what the "!"s mean. Help please

n! is called a factorial.

It would look something like this: n! = 1·2·3·...·n

An example:

5! = 1·2·3·4·5 = 120

! means you would do 8*7*6*5*4*3*2*1 
or 1*2*3*4*5*6*7*8
