Part A:

x^{2} + y^{2} -10x+6y=15 \\  \\
 x^{2} -2(x)(5)+ y^{2}+2(y)(3)=15 \\  \\
 x^{2} -2(x)(5)+(5)^{2}+  y^{2}+2(y)(3)+(3)^{2}=15+ (5)^{2}+(3)^{2} \\  \\
(x-5)^{2}+(y+3)^{2}=49

Part B:
Since the signs and the coefficient of squared terms are the same in the given equation, the given equation represents a circle. The center of the circle is (5, -3) and the radius of the circle is 7.

Mei has 8 jars of soup. Each jar contains 300 milliliters of soup. What is the smallest pot Mei can use to heat all the soup?
balu736 [363]
<h3>Mei can use the smallest pot with capacity of 2400 milliliters to heat all the soup</h3><h3><u> Solution:</u></h3>

Given that,

Mei has 8 jars of soup

Each jar contains 300 milliliters of soup

Therefore,

Total amount of soup = 300 ml x 8 jars

Total amount of soup = 300 \times 8

Total amount of soup = 2400 ml

Hence, Mei can use the smallest pot with capacity of 2400 milliliters to heat all the soup

Answer:

20 + 2x = 4x

Step-by-step explanation:

So you are setting the two expressions equal to each other.

buying a membership card  and paying each time looks like this: 20 + 2x where x is the number of times you go to the gym.  20 dollars base then 2 each time you go.

4 each time you go is just 4x

so just set the two equal to each other.

20 + 2x = 4x

If you solve it you will get x = something, which would be the number of times to make the two equal.

The sum of two consecutive integers is -131. list the numbers from smallest to largest:
Alexxandr [17]
N + n + 1 = - 131
2n + 1 = -131  Subtract 1 from both sides.
2n = - 131 - 1
2n = - 132       Divide by 2
n = - 132 /2
n = - 66

 n + 1 = - 66 + 1 = - 65

the two numbers are - 65 and - 66 <<<< answer
