<h3>Answer:</h3>

            Option-D : They move freely in all directions.

<h3>Explanation:</h3>

                   The physical properties of gases are well explained by Kinetic Molecular Theory. The key postulates of this theory are;

                              1) Composition: Gases are made up of small particles called molecules. The size of these molecules is very small as compared to the distance between molecules, therefore the actual volume of molecules is taken negligible as compared to volume occupied by them.

                             2) Intermolecular Forces: All the gas molecules present in a container behaves independently because they have no force of interactions between them Hence, the attractive forces are taken negligible or too little.

                              3) Energies: Gas molecules have greater kinetic energy as compared to solids and liquids. Hence, The gas molecules move randomly. They collide with each other and with the walls of the container which causes pressure.

<h3>Conclusion:</h3>

                  Therefore, due to large spaces, no interactions, small sizes and high energies the gas particles move freely and there position is not stationary.

3.the three major types of radioactive decay of an unstable nucleus are alpha particles, beta particles, and gamma rays.
Alenkinab [10]

a) Alpha decay occurs when an unstable nuclide emits an alpha particle, (which is just a helium-4 atom), which contains 2 protons and 4 neutrons. This means that transmutation has occurred (since a nuclide of a different element will be produced), and this newly produced nuclide will have 2 fewer protons and 4 fewer neutrons than the original nuclide.

b) ^{234}_{92} \text{U} \longrightarrow ^{4}_{2} \text{He}+^{230}_{90} \text{Th}

c) Alpha decay occurs when an unstable nuclide emits a beta particle, (also known as an electron). This causes transmutation (since a nuclide of a different element will be produced), and this newly produced nuclide will have 1 more proton than the original nuclide.

d) ^{131}_{53} \text{I} \longrightarrow ^{0}_{-1} \beta+^{131}_{54} \text{Xe}

The representative elements are also called the Group A elements. Consider these representative elements:
lapo4ka [179]
The correct option is C.
Elements that has the same properties are usually grouped in the same group. The similarities of the elements in a group usually arise from the fact that they have the same number of electrons in their outermost shells. For instance, all elements in group 1 have one electron in their outermost shells and all elements in group  7 has seven electrons in their outermost shells. Thus, the number of a group signifies the number of electrons the elements in the group have in their outermost shells.

Positional isomers ? are compounds that have the same number and types of atoms but are arranged differently
11111nata11111 [884]
That is correct. Positional isomers are compounds that have the same number and type of atoms. The only difference is that they are simply  arranged in different ways.

2 < (1/2)*x-3 // - (1/2)*x-3

2-((1/2)*x)+3 < 0

(-1/2)*x+2+3 < 0

5-1/2*x < 0 // - 5

-1/2*x < -5 // : -1/2

x > -5/(-1/2)
