Add up the weight of all the watermelons:
8 \frac{1}{4} + 9 \frac{1}{4} + 8 \frac{7}{8} + 9 \frac{5}{8} + 10 \frac{3}{4 } = 46 \frac{3}{4} pounds
then multiply 153 with 1/4 to know how much was eaten:
153*1/4 =
153 \times  \frac{1}{4}  = 38 \frac{1}{4}
Then subtract the amount that was eaten of the amount watermelons that there where
46 \frac{3}{4} - 38 \frac{1}{4}   = 8 \frac{1}{2}
there was precisely 8 1/2 pounds left over

Enzo is making a scale drawing of the rectangle below.
Nitella [24]

Answer:

Enzo is not correct because he did not multiply the length and width by the same factor.

I do not think Enzo is not correct because he did not multiply the length and width by the same factor.

he is making a  drawing of the rectangle below.

A rectangle has a length of 8 centimeters and width of 5 centimeters.

Suppose a new rectangle will have the length of 16 cm.

Enzo says that he can draw an enlarged rectangle that is 16 centimeters by 13 centimeters. Enzo is not correct because he did not multiply the length and width by the same factor.

Marvin solved the same problem using a number line. Marvin jumped 100 to get to 487. Next Marvin jumped 3 to get 490. Next Marvi
pickupchik [31]

Answer: Marvin jumped 156 to getting closer to 543.

Explanation:

It is given that Marvin jumped 100 to get to 487. It means the Marvin starting point was,

487-100=387

The Marvin jump shown on the above of the number line and how far he jumped is shown in below the number line.

The initial point is 387. Then he jump 100 to reach 487. Next Marvin jumped 3 to reach 490. Next Marvin jumped 53 to reach 543.

The total distance covered by him is,

543-387=156

It the sum of his jumps,

100+3+53=156

Therefore, the Marvin jumped 156 to getting closer to 543.

In order to answer the question correctly, please use the following image below:
Maru [420]

Answer:

  see below

Step-by-step explanation:

The angle where chords cross is the average of the intercepted arcs. Here, that is ...

  (37° +46°)/2 = (83°)/2 = 41.5°

Angle SUT is 41.5°.

_____

<em>Comment on the error</em>

The measure of an arc cannot be arbitrarily said to be the same as the angle where the chords cross. It will be the same if (a) the chords cross at the circle center, or (b) the opposite intercepted arc has the same measure. Neither of these conditions hold here.
