HELP ASAP!!!! PLEASE!!!! I NEED TO FINISH MY HOMEWORK!!!!NYou visit the Royal Gorge Bridge near Canon City, Colorado. When walki
ng across the bridge you nudge a small stone off the bridge deck and watch it fall. The distance the stone drops is 16 feet the first second, 48 feet the next second, 80 feet the third second, and so on in an arithmetic sequence. How far does the stone fall during the fifth second? Find it and use the explicit formula. HELP ASAP!!!
I got the answer because I detected a pattern. Did you notice that to go from 16 to 48, you add 32. From 48 to 80, you add 32. Now, as we know the pattern, we add another 32. So, 80 plus 32 would be 112. That is your answer, and that is how I got it. I hope you understand! Comment if this is brainy enough to be okay to understand!
