25 6/12 = 306/12is the total feet of a string
4 3/12 =51/12 feet got lost
To get a remaining part subtract the lost part from the total string
306/12-48/12=255/12
=21 1/4
Therefore the remaining part of a string is 21 1/4 feet

DIA [1.3K]

Answer:

She can make cookies for 4.95 weeks

Step-by-step explanation:

2 x 1 2/3 = 3.333333333

16.5/ 3.333333333 = 4.95

Since Jordan is making two batches of Cookies per week, you need to multiply 2 by the amount of resources needed to bake one batch of cookies. So you multiply 1 and 2/3 by 2 to get the amount of resources neccesary for one week of making cookies. Then, you take the full amount of resources that she has, and divide that by the amount she uses per week, that number will give you the number needed to figure out how many weeks she has to bake cookies.

To figure out the number that is being divided to get the whole number in weeks, you would take the 16.5 cups of flour. The reason why this is, is because that Is the starting number of cups that she has. So here you would need to divide the amount you are taking from it each week. This will result in the amount of weeks that she is able to bake cookies with her flour.

How many dollars do you have if you have 90 nickels, 16 dimes, 16 quarters, and 7 fifty-cent pieces? Show your work and explain
tangare [24]

Answer:

$13.60

Step By Step:

A nickle is worth 5 cents.

A dime is worth 10 cents.

A quarter is worth 25 cents.

5 Cents • 90 Nickles = 450

10 Cents • 16 Dimes = 160

25 Cents • 16 Quarters = 400

50 Cents • 7 fifty-cent pieces = 350

450 + 160 + 400 + 350 = 1360

A dollar is worth 100 cents.

1360 ÷ 100 = $13.60

Jaden and cadence share a reward of $140 in a ratio of 2/5. what fraction of the total reward does Jaden get? how do you know?
ryzh [129]
So, we need to divide the reward into 5 parts, then award 2 parts to Jaden and 3 parts to Cadence.

$140 / 5 = $28

Jaden  gets   2 * 28  =  $56
Cadence gets 3 * 28 = $84

$56 + $84 =  $140
