History

Answer:

B. Meroitic script

Explanation:

The Kuhites developed a writing system closely to resemble the ancient Egyptians, using Meroitic hieroglyphs and a simplified Meroitic script.

While the hieroglyps were used mostly in the walls with sacred connotations and with a appealing design, the Meroitic script  was unique to the civilization living in Kush.

The Meroitic script had two scripts, as shown in the image below, and were used as a system adopting some characteristics of their Egyptian predecesors.

The script is derived from Egyptian hieroglyphs, and some variations like a Meroitic cursive were later employed

Which of the following are effects of the philosophy of Manifest Destiny?
NikAS [45]

Answer:

I.

Explanation:

Reason: "Manifest Destiny, a phrase coined in 1845, is the idea that the United States is destined—by God, its advocates believed—to expand its dominion and spread democracy and capitalism across the entire North American continent. The philosophy drove 19th-century U.S. territorial expansion and was used to justify the forced removal of Native Americans and other groups from their homes. The rapid expansion of the United States intensified the issue of slavery as new states were added to the Union, leading to the outbreak of the Civil War"
