Answer;

O = 50°

Explanation and solution;

  • An isosceles trapezoid is a quadrilateral that has a pair of sides that opposite and are parallel and another pair of sides that are opposite and are congruent.
  • Both pairs of opposite angles in an isosceles trapezoid are supplementary which means their sum add up to 180°.

Therefore;

∠ B  + ∠ A = 180° and ∠T + ∠O = 180°

Hence; ∠O = 180 -∠T

                   = 180 - 130°

                    = 50 °

If one of the roots of the equation x²- 4x + k=0exceeds the other by 2, then find the roots and determine the value of k
BaLLatris [955]

Answer:

roots: 1 and 3

k = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

2 roots: p and p+2

(x-p) (x-p-2) = x² - 4x + k

x² -2px -2x + p² + 2p = x² - 2 (p+1)x + (p² + 2p) = x² -4x + k

-2 (p+1) = -4

p+1 = 2

p = 1   ... root 1

p' = 1+2 = 3   ... root 2

k = p² + 2p = 3

check: (x-1) (x-3) = x² - 4x + 3 = x² - 4x + k

If 1/2 cup of soup equals 120 milliliters, then how many milliliters are in 3 1/2 cups of soup?
pav-90 [236]
Ok. So since they give you that 1/2 cup of soup equals 120 milliliters it makes this very easy. So since we know 120milliliters=1/2 and that 3 1/2= 7 1/2s (please note that the 7 1/2s doesnt mean seven and 1/2 it means seven 1/2s) you just add 120 to itself 7 times getting an answer of 840. Please find the measure of the exterior angle
makvit [3.9K]

Answer:

exterior angles:

144°and 36°

126° and 54°

90° and 90°

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that each angle in a triangle adds up to 180°.

so,

2x+3x+5x=180

10x=180

x=180/10

x=18

the interior angles are:

2x=36°

3x=54°

5x=90°

and explanation is provided to find the exterior angles above.(sorry for the bad handwriting)
