Answer:

nutrients into the ecosystem

Explanation:

These include organisms such as saprophytes that feed on dead organism. Most decomposers are saprophytic bacteria, fungi and the cellulose digesting protozoa found in the gut of termites that feed on dead plant material. Saprophytism is a form of nutrition where an organism obtains nutrients in form of soluble organic compounds from dead organic matter. Decomposers are very important in the ecosystem because they bring about decay or decomposition of dead bodies and release nutrients into the ecosystem which can be used by green plants in photosynthesis. Consumers feed on these organic compounds.

Material through which water readily flows is termed ____.
Simora [160]
Material through which water flows is permeable. This material can be either natural or artificial. Naturally permeable material can be clean sand and gravel for example, or a sandstone and in the latter case the sandstone can have both porosity which is not synonymous with permeability as the pores must be connected to be permeable. An impermeable membrane could be used to line ditches for example to prevent leakage near mines.
